Ford Shelby GT500 used cars were designed on the award winning American and Canadian car of the year, the 2005 GT-500. Ford made this Mustang very affordable for the ordinary Joe to buy brand new. Also for what you paid and what you got in speed was just an awesome deal.

The 2007 GT500 has a V8, 5.4 Litre, 500 horsepower engine, it has 480 pound-ft of torque at 4,500 RPM. It has a six speed manual transmission and this allows the GT500 to go 0-60 in 4.91 seconds. The GT500 comes in two models a hard top coupe or a convertible. Its standard for both models to have leather seats and a CD changer. Both models come with 18 inch wheels.

This vehicle has some serious power and handling, it comes with anti-lock brakes, traction control and front seated air bags. The 2007 Shelby Cobra did receive a five star rating for a frontal test crash and also received a four star rating for a side test crash. After three years of Toyota competing as part of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, NASCAR Chairman and CEO Bill France commented, “Toyota’s entry into the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series and the NASCAR Busch Series is good for drivers, teams and the fans. This move provides for even more intense competition on the track between drivers and manufacturers, which will provide more excitement and fan interest,” he continued. “Toyota’s entry also provides more options for drivers and teams, which will increase the competition between manufacturers.

The 2007 year will mark several milestones for Toyota cars, including the company’s 50th anniversary in America. As the golden anniversary occurs, so will Toyota’s venture into the NASCAR Nextel and Busch series racing. While Toyota drivers and teams have proven to be championship competitors and winners in other series, the manufacturer anxiously awaits to see if the Toyota cars will enjoy the same fate as they branch out into new NASCAR territory. “If you want to compete against the best, in America that means NASCAR,” admits Dave Illingworth, senior vice president, chief planning and administrative officer for Toyota Motor Sales, USA., Inc.

A separate announcement, made in late January 2006, detailed the three teams that would be competing behind the wheel of Toyota cars. Bill Davis Racing, Team Red Bull and Michael Waltrip Racing will be the teams sporting the Toyota Camry as the 2007 season kicks off at the Daytona 500 next February. According to TMS corporate manager of marketing communications Kim McCullough, “The response to Toyota’s involvement in the Craftsman Truck Series has been very positive, and we look forward to building on the acceptance at the next levels – in both Nextel Cup and Busch racing.”

Michael Waltrip, who owns one of the teams to be operating Toyota cars next season, is a Daytona 500 winner times two. Nearly 10 years ago, he formed a race team that was primarily known for it’s involvement in the Busch Series. In recent years, however, the team began participating in the Nextel Cup Series on a limited basis and plans to compete regularly during the 2007 season. In fact, plans for ‘Waltrip Racing World’ was announced that would feature a high-tech race shop boasting over 125,000 square-feet of race shop space, buildings and housing.

For this year, the Ford Motor Company now comes with a new concept car which Ford followers, car aficionados, and simple consumers can gawk at, make a spectacle of, and eventually be a fan of. This new concept car that has joined the ranks of Ford concept cars like the Ford Aurora, Bronco Wildflower, Cougar, Econoline Apartment, Explorer Drifter, Fiera, FX-Atmos, Ghia, Indigo, Muroc, and Nucleon is actually named the 2007 Ford Mustang Giugiaro concept.

The 2007 Ford Mustang Giugiaro concept has been created with an interior made up of horse hide. It comes with a huge glass roof that would really get your attention. It has got fenders made using carbon fiber. The doors are even quite amazing. Imagine having a vehicle that are electrically operator and crisscross themselves just like scissors would do. Mustang may be the name attributed to this Ford concept car but it sure is not like an ordinary Mustang.

A combination of American power and Italian design and style. That is what the 2007 Ford Mustang Giugiaro concept car really is. After all, this one has got the design straight right out of the brilliant minds of people from Giugaro design works as well as Giogetto Giugaro and Fabrizio Giugaro themselves. According to Giugaro, they made sure that the body panels were as tight as possible so that the vehicle was given a new kind of look. However, despite such, the vehicle also had to go through a widening of the front and back.

Design was not the only thing this vehicle had to go through. The 2007 Mustang Giugiaro concept vehicle also comes with a new 4.6 liter V8 engine that has got an intercooled and twin-screw supercharger.

And after a warm introduction from the Executive Chairman Bill Ford, Mulally drove the 2008 Ford Five Hundred onstage with its upscale look on the outside and addition of 60 more horsepower on the inside. Ford CEO Mulally explained, “What we’ve done to make the Five Hundred better goes to the heart of how we are approaching the future of this great company and this great brand.”

It should be noted that Ford has previously announced that by the end 0f 2008 at least 70% of Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products together with the Ford Five Hundred will be upgraded. This is in addition to the plan of strengthening further existing products. According to CEO Mulally, the company is positioning itself for development in major automotive segments. “This includes an expanded commitment to small cars, more crossovers, more capable and efficient trucks, putting in place an exciting vision for our Lincoln and Mercury brands. . . and growing our premium automotive brands.”

The new 2008 Ford Focus is just a preview of the upcoming new small cars that Ford will be producing. The Focus is equipped with high quality Ford parts and given a bolder exterior design. Its interior is designed to provide optimum driving control. The interior is also created using top-of-the-line materials like the matte silver finish on the instrument panel and console. There is also an all-new ambient lightning comprising of seven different colors which customers can adjust to provide them the illumination and mood they want inside the car’s cabin.

According to Mark Fields, Ford president of the Americas, “People buy small cars in the U.S. more than any other segment and any other type of vehicle. With gas prices on consumers’ minds and, of course, lifestyles changing, we expect this growth to continue going forward. This new Focus sedan – and for the first time ever, a Focus coupe – are part of our plan to dramatically grow Ford’s small car offerings.”

Fields has also announced that the Focus, along with the Five Hundred and 10 other Ford Lincoln and Mercury products are going to be introduced this year – equipped with Ford’s latest Sync technology. It should be noted that Ford has entered into a partnership with Microsoft to develop the Sync technology which is a fully integrated, voice-activated in-car communication and entertainment system for mobile phones and digital music players. Hopefully the new Sync technology can help Ford in enticing more buyers this year.

The awarding will coincide with the 75th anniversary of the 1932 Ford, one of the most influential vehicles from the automaker. The 1932 Ford, otherwise called Model B or Deuce coupe, is highly collectible these days. However, one should be prepared to pay thousands of dollars to restore its original style and appeal. Said vehicle played a significant role in giving birth to the hot rod era.

Petersen Lifetime Achievement Award is scheduled to be given to Edsel B. Ford II, chosen representative of the family, on the second day of March next year. Edsel B. Ford II is the great-grandson of Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motor Company.

“There couldn’t be a more fitting family member to represent the Ford family than Edsel B. Ford II,” said Dick Messer, director of The Petersen Automotive Museum in a recent press release. “His grandfather, Edsel B. Ford (son of Henry Ford), oversaw the design of the 1932 Ford coupes and roadster, now nicknamed the ‘deuce’.” Those vehicles are the roots upon which the hot rod niche market has been built.”

]Robert E. Petersen, founder of The Petersen Automotive Museum and award namesake noted, “There couldn’t be a more appropriate time or appropriate place to honor the Ford family. The 1932 Ford roadster remains the most popular body style among hot rodders and has long been recognized as America’s quintessential hot rod. These vehicles formed the foundation for the hot rod movement.”
